Christmas!

The Christmas season will be here before we know it.

Yes, I am aware that we have not celebrated Thanksgiving yet, but there are some things that I need to be proactive about, BEFORE Christmas gets too close and I am too late, once again.

There have been many items over the past few years that I realize I need after Christmas.

Things to make my life more organized. So last Christmas, I made a list and vowed to purchase them before this Christmas season was upon me.

Proactive! Remember that word.

ONE

How many of you have leftover wrapping paper, or paper you bought on clearance after Christmas, last year, or the year before that? I know you can’t see me but I am definitely raising my hand! Why do I always have so much paper? I have “stored” all that paper in the corner of my Christmas closet and not in an organized fashion, I may add. I finally purchased some perfect wrapping paper holders.

Aren’t they awesome? So organized!

TWO

Where do you put your wreaths when the holiday is over? I shove mine in a black garbage bag and hang them in the storage closet. My method doesn’t help to keep their shape! I have wanted a wreath holder, for every season, really bad, and now I have some. I recently bought three wreath storage containers and let me tell you, they work great.

Goodbye black garbage bags!

THREE

Speaking of garbage bags, I never have enough containers for my Christmas pillows and throws. It seems that some of those beautiful pillows and throws end up in a black garbage bag, just like my wreaths. Every year, I say I will buy more and when the season is over, I haven’t purchased ANY! Please, tell me I am not alone.

I am happy to say that the purchase has been made and the clear storage containers are also checked off my list!

FOUR

How about those Christmas lights? How many of you just take them off the tree and throw them in a container? I try to take them off nicely, wind them neatly, putting them in a container for next year. I have always wanted those cord wind up helpers. I finally found some and placed my order.

Lights organized - check!

FIVE

Up until the last few years, I had always had two 10 ft. trees. Needless to say, I have acquired so many ornaments over the years. I am methodical when it comes to putting them away. Many of my ornaments have their own boxes but many I have do not. Ordering ornament containers was a priority on my list.

I am happy to say all my items have been ordered and my list is complete!

With all my new purchases, I am happy to say that I WILL be organized after the Holidays. I have linked some options below for your access.

I hope this has been helpful. I hope you appreciate my love for an organized Christmas closet as much as me!

Peace and Blessings!
